Tea Pots and Cups
Do you have special tea pots and cups that you like to use for special occasions or just because you like to drink tea when you relax? Lately, tea parties have been popular for occasions such as weddings and birthdays.
The Nice Cuppa stamp set with the matching framelits are great to have for events like these. You can create decorations, cards, packaging items and scrap pages using the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper stack and the Have a Cuppa Embellishments. These are so cute and add that extra special touch.
This is a birthday card that I created using this set.
Stamps: A Nice Cuppa, Balloon Celebration.
Ink/Markers: Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky.
Paper: Whisper White Thick, Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Birthday Bouquet DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Cups and Kettle Framelits, Paper Tea Lace Doily, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Pearl Jewels.
The tea pot was cut twice with the framelits and then sponged with a sponge dauber and Smoky Slate ink to give it some dimension. The tea bag hanging out is attached to Whisper White Baker’s twine.
This was a fun card to create as you can make it as dainty and vintage looking as you would like. What could be daintier than have the teapot sitting on a lace doily and drinking from a fine bone china cup. The cup reminds me of the Royal Albert china that so many of us have in our cupboards and china cabinets.
