Summer at the beach and finding the beach starfish is a great way to spend the day. Using the Serene Scenery DSP provides a wonderful background for many of the stamp sets in the Annual Catalogue.
The Serene Scenery DSP is available in a stack. That is, the paper is 6″ x 6″ and the stack contains 48 sheets. Each stack contains 12 double sided designs, with one side printed in a scene and the other side printed in a graphic. You have a choice to build a scene or use the paper as a background for stamps.
For example, on the card, the beach theme paper is used to create a background for the starfish and the sentiment. The Picture Perfect stamp set contains many 2 and 3-stamp images. The starfish is stamped on Very Vanilla using Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. To add dimension and make the starfish standout, it is sponged in Soft Suede ink. Finally, Linen Thread is wrapped around the card.
