Sending Good Thoughts Your Way – Makes You and Me Happy

Sending Good Thoughts

Sending good thoughts to someone is a way to make us feel happy, fulfilled and a friend.  We don’t need to be friends in the literal sense as the “friend” could be family, teachers, nurse… just about anyone.  It’s the thought that counts.

This is a card that I did for one of my fancy fold class and it uses the scallop tag punch for the closure.  Love that punch…actually, I love all the punches.  The scallop tag punch along with the Tea Lace Paper Doily makes this card soft and feminine.  Another interesting feature of this card is the 2-step stamping method.  This method allows you to add features to images, perhaps in a different coloured ink as I did here.  Aligning the stamps to get a nice image is easier when you use the  Stamp-a-Ma-Jig tool.

Ink: Hello Honey, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Wild Wasabi.

Accessories: Big Shot, Banners Framelits, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Hello Honey 3/8” Stitched Satin Ribbon, Tea Lace Paper Doily.

If you want to send someone an interesting card, this could be one.  Sometimes it feels good to do a card that is not the standard “fold in half”  Although the card ends up being 4- 1/4″ x 5-1/2″, it is how you get there that makes it fun.

I hold regular classes that focus on the unique.  There is another class that is coming up on September 26th – 12:30 – 3:30 and 6:30 – 9:30..

If you live in the local Kamloops area, I encourage you to give these classes a try.  REgister before September 19th and the fee is $15.00.  The registration fee after that date is $20.00.
