Lotus Blossom Thank You

I really have used the Lotus Blossom stamp set on many different projects and I am so sorry that it was limited to Sale-a-Bration this year. It’s a fabulous little stamp that can be used over and over.

This time I chose to use the Lotus Blossom as a stand alone for a thank you card. This would be an easy and quick card for you to create and it does pack a WOW!. In, fact, you could create a few thank you cards all at the same time. There is something to be said about the assembly line.

Recipe

Stamps: Lotus Blossom.

Ink/Markers: Calypso Coral, Smokey Slate, Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding.

Paper: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Smokey Slate, Daffodil Delight.

Accessories: Big Shot, Lovely Lace Embossing Folder, Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon.

I created a watercolour background by using the Daffodil Delight ink and the Aqua Painter. It was just enough to set off the flower, added a bit of colour and really made the Lotus Blossom a focal point.

Try this type of card for yourself…just use a single blossom on top of a watercolour background. And, remember, it’s a great idea to have a few thank you cards on hand.
