Way To Go, Well Done, Congratulations On Your Achievement
Way To Go!
When someone has a momentous occasion, we often hear, “Way to Go”, “Well Done”. Yes, it is a way to congratulate the person and recognize their achievement.
Now, we have a stamp for that. The “I Think You’re Great” stamp set is new to the annual catalogue. It’s a great little stamp set to have on hand if you want to make a quick, cute card.
In addition to the way to go sentiment and 2 other other sentiments, it also has 2 back ground stamps. Plus, you can use the kissing technique very easily with the stamps.
The kissing technique will allow you to change the background on the stamps. The sentiment stamps have a solid background, so when you stamp the image as you would usually do, the words stand out on the solid background.
To change up the background, you ink up the sentiment image as you normally would do. Instead of stamping on your paper right away, stamp on one of the background stamps. This will transfer to image from the background stamp to the solid stamp. Now stamp on your paper. Woo hoo! You, have just kissed the stamps.

This card was a congratulations card for a friend who just completed her CPA/CGA accounting designation. It’s a difficult road to follow, but the opportunities when you finish the programs are endless.
I wanted this card to be simple but convey a message. First, the sentiment “Way to Go”, says most of it, but the circles say “Your path never ends, now that you have achieved a major goal”.
I used a variety of circles from the Circle Collection Framelits. First, I cut a large circle in the Whisper White panel so that the colour of the turquoise panel would be seen.
All the circles are sponged with their corresponding ink to add dimension. Some are popped up with dimensionals. The “to go” in the sentiment is coloured using the Real Red marker to give a pop of colour.
So, next time someone has achieved a goal, tell them “Way To Go!”
