Use The Seashore Bay Suite to Create a Serene Sympathy Card
Use the Seashore Bay Suite to create a beautiful card. I chose to create a sympathy card for my cousin, whose husband passed away on Christmas Day. At a time when we should be celebrating, it’s also a time for mourning the life of one that has gone.

Instructions to Create the Card
- Use a scenic piece of DSP – I used the one with the gold swirls that curve downward.
- Stamp the Oyster Shell on Basic White with Crumb Cake ink. Die cut the stamped image.
- Die cut 2 tall grasses from Mint Macaron cs and a short grass from Soft Succulent cs.
- Die cut scalloped shell from Crumb Cake cs. Tap VersaMark ink on the shell (need to be solidly covered) and cover with Gold Metallic Emboss Powder. Heat set with Heat tool.
- Color the small shells with Stampin’ Write Markers and stamp on Basic White. Die cut with coordinating die.
- Cut the small circle from Crumb Cake cs and lightly cover with VersaMark. Emboss with Gold Metallic Emboss Powder and heat set.
- Attach one of the larger Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to the circle (step 6) and attach to oyster.
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White with Starry Night ink and die cut with the die from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
- Arrange the elements on the card front. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to card front.
- Inside panel – Attach a strip of DSP to the bottom of the panel. Stamp the small shells & sand above the DSP with Crumb Cake ink.
- Attach loops of the Simply Elegant Trim – Gold behind the sentiment with Tear & Tape. Attach to card front.
The paper from this suite is absolutely beautiful. I am trying to use it but it’s hard. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it. So, you need to used the Seashore Bay Suite (along with the DSP, to create a beautiful card.
