Tangled Up in Creativity Challenge
Christy from Lone Pines Design challenged us to alter a notebook and add a touch of Spring. We all know how much we want Spring to be here.
This is my project and I took it with me last weekend to the Stampin’ Up! Regional meeting held in Vancouver at the Canada Place Convention Center. I wanted a book to write notes and ideas that were presented during the sessions. And what a great time we all had, of course, except for the snow.
Vancouver never really has any snow during the winter (we saw that last year for the Olympics, when we wanted snow lol). Then on Sunday, we had to drive home over a mountain route to get to Kamloops. What would normally take 4 hours took us 6 hours as the drive was pretty slow. Every once in a while, the highway would be closed so that they could get the trucks out to sand and plow the snow. Going up one hill looked like a parking lot as the big rigs were pulled over to the side, cars were slipping and sliding (probably no snow tires, like duh, you’re in the middle of the mountains). Any how we made it safe and sound. Thanks to Kendra for driving home in the snow.
Now on to my project
Hope your cute journal is packed with lots of fun ideas from regionals! So glad you had a great time and made it home safely in all that snow!
Lovely project.
Karen, what a cute notebook. I totally understand about the weather.. Yuck I hate winter for the most part.
Thanks for stopping and leaving a sweet comment…. Not sure if little Brian will think it’s cute when he’s old enough to know better, but at least his goofy Gramma didn’t have anything “important” showing! Hugs..Diane
Love your notebook…glad to hear you made it home safe and sound!
Your journal looks terrific and what an adventure you had with it on it first outing. Lets hope there’s lots more to inspire but not in the wet and the cold!
Great notebook. Glad you got home safe.
Love your little notebook and am sure it came in very handy! The little birds on there are so cute and yes, springy!
Sounds scary driving in all the snow/ice, etc…..glad yall made it home safely.
