A Swallowtail Butterfly is beautiful to behold. Now Stampin’ Up! has their own version of the Swallowtail.  Big and beautiful, this stamp can be used in so many ways, as a background stamp, a focal point on the front of a card. 

Techniques that could be used range from embossing, to water colouring, to sponging.  The possibilities are endless and you are only limited by your imagination.

For this birthday card, I did CASE the new Spring 2013 catalogue.  I loved the simplicity of the card which shows of the embossing technique.  Also the colours that were featured were ones that I may not have thought of if I hadn’t seen them together – Pool Party and Summer Starfruit.
