Summer Strawberries – So Sweet, So Good

Summer strawberries are so delicious. What is better than picking the ripe strawberries off the vines and popping them into your mouth.

I plan to tuck a few strawberry candies into the summer strawberries basket and give it to friend to display for Canada Day.

Recipe

Stamps: Project Life Day to Day.

Ink/Markers: Whisper White Craft.

Paper: Tip Top Taupe, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP.

Accessories: Big Shot, Chalk Talk Framelits, Berry Basket BigZ Die, Floral Fusion BigZ Die, Autumn Accents BigZ Die, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Five Petal Punch, Old Olive 1/8” Taffeta Ribbon, 1/8” Handheld Circle Punch.

The strawberries were made using the Floral Fusion bigz die and the 5 petal punch which are discounted. However, if you are lucky enough to have these products, you can find a tutorial on Carry’s Stampin’ on the Brain blog.

This strawberry basket was created for the Creative Crew challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. The cards and other projects will not be available until July 1st, so hop on over to view after that day.

The theme for this challenge is “Life is a Picnic” so all the challenges revolved around summer, picnics and all that goes with them. For this particular challenge we were asked for focus on anything food or family such as a Scrapbook page, table favors, signs, etc!

What could be better than having Summer Strawberries in a basket to be your table favour for your picnics and other get togethers.
