Sneak Peek – Stampin Up Blendabilities and New 2014/16 In Colors
It’s a Sneak Peek for the Stampin Up Blendabilities and the New 2014/16 In Colors
Excitement is in the air as we look forward to Stampin’ Up!’s new annual catalogue. There is always new product and the ones I am focusing on today are the Blendabilities – new Alcohol Markers, and the new 2014/16 In Colors.
It’s also Mother’s Day this weekend and what a way to introduce the new products. I am already in love with the news colors and the Blendabilities make you look like an artist.
Stamps: Blended Blooms (w- 135906, 2014/15 Annual Catalogue)
Paper: Whisper White, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow, Moonlight DSP Stack
Ink: Black Memento, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight Blendabilities, Old Olive Blendabilities
Accessories: Pearl Jewels, Lost Lagoon 3/8” Satin Stitched Ribbon, Blossom Builder Punch, Tiny Wave Stampin Trimmer, Vanilla Smooch
Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities come in a set of 3. On this card, I stamped the flower in black Memento ink which is a quick drying in and excellent when using alcohol markers. I used the Daffodil Delight and the Old Olive Blendabilities.
These are so easy because Stampin’ Up! has taken the guess work out of which colors to choose. The set of 3 ranges from dark, medium and light. So for the Daffodil Delight, there is a light yellow, medium yellow and dark yellow to use and provide you shading and depth to your stamped image.
There is also a set of flesh tones that will be available to add to your coloring adventures.
You can even use the Blendabilities to color your embellishments – pearls, rhinestones, buttons, etc.
To add a bit of interest, I used the Tiny Wave blade on my Stampin’ Trimmer.
To use the rotary blades, you must attach the Rotary Addition to the Stampin’ Trimmer after removing the original scoring and cutting track.
I will post additional Sneak Peeks so come back often.
Happy Stamping
Your card is beautiful, Karen! I am looking forward to trying the Blendabilities! I like the way they are grouped in threes.
Gorgeous card, love the pretty flower!
