How To Create a Peekaboo Card to Celebrate a Special Event
Create a Peekaboo Card
Create a Peekaboo Card with the Window Box thinlit dies and the Window Shopping stamp set. Usually, the Window Box thinlit dies are used to create a gift box. However, it is great to use your products to create something outside the box.
The first step is to create the watercolor panel that will peek out behind the die cut panel. Place the hexagon die so that the design will be pleasing to you. Use a pencil to lightly mark several points where you would like the different coloured inks to appear. Now start painting on either Shimmery White or Watercolor Paper with the inks and an Aqua Painter Brush.
For instance, the Pear Pizzazz ink appears behind the cut outs that resemble leaves, the large flower show Blushing Bride ink. Finally, the remaining areas use Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo inks. Now, die cut the Whisper White panel and attach to coloured panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
