Hi Everyone: Spring is definitely here, at least for now. Today was a sunny18 degrees even though the calendar says Spring won’t be here for another few days. Suprises do happen, so we shouldn’t get used to it.
Here is a couple of Mother’s Day cards that I have created. The first one is based on MOJO Monday 129.

Accessories: Ribbon (other), Scallop Trim punch, Big Shot – Perfect Polka Dots, Dimensionals

This card was based on Saturday Sketch Challenge 142, another great choice for that stamper block.
I embossed the 2nd layer with the Perfect Polka Dots impressions folder and then layered the DSP, the brayered Bride specialty paper, trimmed the 5th layer with the scallop trim punch and stamped and emboss resist the sentiment. I then stamped the last layer with the bird from the Of the Earth stamp set and edged with Brocade Blue ink.
Now I have 2 Mother’s Day cards and will have to decide who will receive which one.
WOW — both of these are FANTASTIC
Very pretty cards! Love the colour combos! Thank you for the nice comment you left about my card on Splitcoaststampers. I’m Meedi-J. I arrived at your blog from your comment and I see that you are from Kamloops and that you are friends with Elaine Paget. I’m part of her Stampers 10! It’s a small world!
wow, Karen, both cards are beautiful it would be very hard to decide which one to give. Glad to hear your weather has warmed up too. Say hi to Kamloops for me.
