Gifts for Others – a Way to Share at Stampin Up Convention
Gifts Galore – What a Way to Share
Creating gifts for others is a perfect way to share your creativity and inspire others. For me it’s the creating and the giving that I so much enjoy. – You know that saying…“It’s better to give than receive”.
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that I am a lover of MDS and my Silhouette e-cutter. These 2 are so much fun to use together. You can import stamps, punches (as long as they are SVG files), card stock and yes, designer papers.
I saw this idea on Bronwyn Eastely’s blog and I knew that I need to create these little boxes. This MDS set called Cool Like That Giftable Templates has 8 different boxes you can create and tags to go along with them.
And, no, you do not need an e-cutter to create these babies – a pair of snips will do.
Recipe

Ink: Baked Brown Sugar, Lost Lagoon, Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Lost Lagoon, Window Sheets
Accessories: MDS – Cool Like That Giftable Templates (136573), Anchors Aweigh (134683), Scallop Tag Topper, Angled Tag Topper, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker’s Twine, Lost Lagoon 3/8” Stitched Ribbon, Blushing Bride 1/4” Cotton Ribbon, Champagne Glass Glitter
For the gift, I added a set of Catalogue Labels that I created a couple of weeks ago. You can see that post and a video HERE.
The shaker is made using Window Sheets and filled with Champagne Glitter Glass. The clam shell and the star fish were cut using the e-cutter at the same time the boxes were cut, so there was no fuss, no muss.
