Focus on the Path of Petals Suite from Stampin Up.
This week we will focus on the Path of Petals Bundle in the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. The whole suite is beautiful and offers may ideas for you to consider when creating your cards, scrapbook pages, and/or decor and 3-D items.
Path of Petals DSP is so beautiful. Notice the one sheet with various panels to cut out and use as a focal point for the front of your card.
Recipe for a Friendship Card
Stamp Set: Path of Petals, Beautiful Promenade.
Ink: Night of Navy, Old Olive, Soft Suede.
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).
Accessories: Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Petal Label Dies, Subtle Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Paper Snips, Frosty & Clear Epoxy Droplets.
Cardstock and Papers Cutting Measurements
- Soft Suede CS – 5-12″ x 8-1/2″ scored and folded at 4-1/4″
- Crumb Cake CS – 5-1/4 x 3-1/2″. Stamp the triple diamonds on the Soft Suede Paper with Soft Suede ink. Emboss the panel with Subtle 3-D. embossing folder.
- Cut a piece of the DSP 3-3/4″ x 2″ and attach to the embossed Crumb Cake panel.
- Stamp the 2 smaller flowers and leaves with Old Olive ink on Very Vanilla CS and die cut. Stamp these again with Night of Navy ink on Very Vanilla CS and die cut. Cut out the 2 flowers by hand using Paper Snips and attach to the 2 green flowers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Die cut the large filigree label from Very Vanilla CS, stamp the sentiment with Soft Suede ink and die cut with small oval die. Attach the oval cutout to the filigree label and attach to the bottom of the DSP.
- Attach the Night of Navy flowers to the bottom of the oval with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Tie a bow in the Linen Thread, attach to the left side of oval with Stampin’ Mini Glue Dots and place a Clear Epoxy Droplet in the center.
Focus on the Path of Petals bundle for a card that says friendship, serenity and peace with flowers and simplicity.
