My Favorite Mothers Day Verse

Do you have a favorite Mothers Day verse that you use for your Mother’s Day cards?   I don’t have any particular Mother’s Day verse, however, I try to fit the verse to the person.

My Mom is very special having been on this earth for more that 93 Years.  Can you imagine the changes she has seen over the 9 decades?  Mom has always been there for the family and friends.  There are many times that I called on her to help me out and she always did it willingly.  She has 3 great grandchildren that are the apple of her eye.  It’s a special relationship as many of us do not have the opportunity to know our great grandparents,

Recipe for Mother’s Day Card

Stamps: Love What You Do, Thoughtful Phrases.

Ink: Rich Razzleberry.

Paper: Whisper White Thick, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Accessories: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Celebrate You Thinlits,  Lovely Floral dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Share What You Love Embellishment Kit, rich Razzleberry 1/4″ Ribbon, 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

Using the suite is such a delight.  The “Share What You Love SPecialty Designer Series Paper” is drop dead gorgeous. THere are 24 sheets of paper with 4 each of 6 double sided designs.   4 of the designs have a translucent pearlized finish.  If you enjoy fussy cutting, you can cut the various designs for your cards.  That is what I did with this card.  All the flowers on the left-hand side are fussy cut from the papers.

I also used several embellishments from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.  THere are various embellishments from Baker’s Twine to colored paper clips.  In addition, the new ribbon, RIch Razzleberry 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon is so rich and the 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is so elegant.  All of which are great for a Mother’s Day card.
