Fall is coming with its  vibrant and regal colors. We see the vibrant colors in cozy sweaters, pumpkins, leaves to name a few.  This is a great time to create cards and scrapbook pages using the Harvest Meadow Suite.  The rich colors in this suite include: Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, Soft Succulent, Misty Moonlight and Crumb Cake.

Do you call it Fall or Autumn?  People in Canada and the United States use Fall while the United Kingdom use Autumn. However, there are no strict rules and the two words are interchangeable.

Nature’s Harvest Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Nature’s Harvest.

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Cajun Craze.

Paper (including measurements): Basic White: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with bone folder.

Cajun Craze – 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. and 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″,

Basic White – 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, and scrap for sentiment, 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside panel.

Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper – 3-3/4″ x 5″.

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Harvest Dies, Layering Circles, 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon, Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots, Stampin’ Blends, Cajun Craze Combo, Crumb Cake Combo, Mossy Meadow Combo, Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots

Assemble the Card

• Die cut the Basic White cs with a circle (the largest that can fit on the  3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ cardstock.
• Stamp the large Cone Flower on the circle with Tuxedo Black Ink.  Place the flower so that it is centers in the circle.  Color with the Stampin’ Blends, shading where needed. Use the Early espresso Write Marker and splatter ink on the circle.
• Use the scallop circle to fit the 4″ x 4″ Cajun Craze cardstock. Adhere to Basic White Circle.
• Attach the Cajun Craze panel to the card base and the DSP to the Cajun Craze.
• Place the circle on the DSP and adhere with Dimensionals.
• Stamp the sentiment with Cajun Craze ink on Basic White scrap.  Die cut with matching Die.  Cut 6 ” of the 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon and cut down the middle.  Fold in half and attach to the back of the sentiment.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to card.
• Place 2 small and 1 large Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Bronze Dots on the card front.
• Stamp a sentiment on Basic White panel and attach to the inside of the card.
