Encouraging Others

When you are encouraging others, you often bring joy to their lives. Everyone, at sometime, will go through difficult times. So why not send them a card that will know that you are thinking of them during their difficult time.

The You’ve Got This, a new stamp set in the 2015/16 Share the Fun annual catalogue can do just that. It is a line stamp that you can use to create a fast and simple card, or step it up and make it a wow card.

The sentiments included with this stamp set are great for encouraging others. In addition to the sentiment used on this card, the others are You’ve Got This and I’m here for you.

The new catalogue is awesome and I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised when you see one.

Recipe

Stamps: You’ve Got This.

Ink/Markers: Memento Tuxedo Black, Stazon Black Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, VersaMark.

Paper: Very Vanilla, Gold Foil, Watermelon Wonder.

Accessories: Blender Pens, Gold Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Powder, 1-/8” Ribbon.

The cross-hatch background image was stamped in VersaMark and then embossed with gold emboss powder. It adds elegance to the card along with the gold foil paper that surrounds the Very Vanilla panel.

The flower was coloured using markers and the blender pens. If I wanted darker shaded areas, I would touch the tip of the blender pen to the ink pad, and put in the darker areas on the image.

Once I completed the coloring, the flower was fancy cut with the Paper Snips scissors. These scissors have a very sharp point that allows you to really cut into the small areas.

Encouraging others can be a very simple gesture and an encouragement card can help with the gesture.
