Emmet The Lego Man Attends a Birthday Party
Emmet Goes to a Birthday Party
The Lego Movie released this past Spring was certainly a success. If you are big or small, at sometime you have probably played with Lego. Lego allows your imagination to go wild and brings out your inner creativity.
So what better way to celebrate a birthday than to have Emmet attend. And he is attending a Birthday Party today for a new 7 year old. I cased Emmett from Crafty Owl. Thank you.
For Emmet, I had to put on my thinking cap on and try different punches to get him looking like Lego.

Some of the details on how I created Emmet:
- The Everything is … statement was created in MDS, however, you could also use MS Word, print on card stock and trim.
- The button was created with the Simply Pressed Clay and after it dried was coloured with the darkest Pumpkin Pie blendability pen. These markers are great for colouring embellishments as the ink will not rub off because they are an alcohol marker.
- The word “Awesome” was coloured with the Pacific Point marker, stamped on Whisper White and cut out with the Word Bubbles Framelits.
- Emmet’s shirt and pants were cut out free hand as were the straps, belt and badge.
So if you know someone who is crazy about Lego and the Lego Movie, give this one a try.
Happy Stamping
My great nephew just visited Legoland last week! He would certainly love a card like this! Delightful work, Karen!
You come up with the most cool cards! This one is just fabulous.
