Delivering Cheer Sneak Peek from the Aug – Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue
Delivering Cheer is just not for the Holiday Season. This stamp set has a variety of images that would be good for a birthday, Thanksgiving (Fall) and yes, Christmas. Make the card more generic by adding the Best Year stamp set. The Paper Piecing Technique contributes to the interest on this card.
Paper Piecing is a very simple technique but highly effective. Sometimes I forget about the easy ones. Do you? It’s the skirt on this card that adds the interest. The bottom portion of the stamp (dress) is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. The hardest part is the fussy cutting. Remember the DSP sale going on. Stamp Sets: Delivering Cheer, Best Year.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Evening Evergreen.
Paper: Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Basic White, Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper..
Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Scalloped Contour Dies, Loose Flower Flourishes, Stampin’ Blends: Polished Pink, So Succulent, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Evening Evergreen, Petal Pink, Paper Snips Scissors.
Cutting Measurements:
Pale Papaya: Card Base – 4 1/4″x 11″ score at 5-1/2″ and burnish fold with Bone Folder.
Evening Evergreen- 4-” x 5-1/4″
Basic White: 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″, 4-” x 5-1/4″ (inside panel) scraps for gift packages.

Create the Card
- Die Cut the Basic White panel with the 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Dies. Stamp the parcel image with Tuxedo Black ink. Line up the skirt and shoes stamp with the top image and stamp with Tuxedo Black ink.
- Stamp this bottom image again on the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and fussy cut with the Paper Snips Scissors. Lay this piece aside.
- Color the parcels with the Stampin’ Blends, the arms & legs with Pale Pink Blends and the shoes with Polished Pink Blends.
- Stamp “Hello” with Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White Panel.
- Cut the Evening Evergreen panel with the largest die. Layer onto the card base and adhere the image panel to the Evening Evergreen panel.
- On the inside panel, stamp another sentiment and attach.
