Create a Guy Birthday Card – 3 Questions to Ask Yourself
To create a guy birthday card may be daunting for some crafters. So what do you do to help yourself. I am going to answer 3 questions that I ask myself when I start. I hope that these questions will help you as well.
Questions to ask:
- What hobbies does this guy like to do…it is woodworking, fishing, car mechanics, etc. Once you can answer that question, you have solved some of the mystery.
- What colours does he like? Color for guys can be a touchy subject because they like manly colours, however sometimes you can get away with more delicate colours. I know at one point in time, you would not consider putting pink or baby blue or purple on a guy card because they would think that it is too feminine. But, times are a changin. So, you need to think about how the colours to choose will be received.
- Another question is how do I achieve a creation that will make him happy to receive the card. Sometimes a guy will dismiss the time you have spent on the design and the creation of his card and sometimes he will appreciate the card.
Armed with the answers to these questions, you can go about creating the card.
I created this card for a guy, so I wanted to it to be something that would interest him.
