Classic Model for Dad’s Fathers Day Card
My Dad – A Classic Model
What is a classic model? Well, my dad is just that. At 91 years young, he is like the ever ready bunny, just keeps going and going.
As my Dad is getting up there, we never know what tomorrow will bring, so it’s important that we give him our time. His favourite meal is a good old fashion classic model turkey dinner. So, that it is exactly what I cooked for his Father’s Day dinner. It’s good thing I have air-conditioning, because it was a very warm day and the oven can heat the house in no time. Yes, it was complete with stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes and gravy. Yum!
What is more fitting for a classic model dad, then a classic model car on his card.
Recipe
Stamps: Guy Greetings, Work of Art.
Ink/Markers: Soft Suede, Lost Lagoon.
Paper: Very Vanilla, Lost Lagoon, Neutrals Designer Paper Stack – Soft Suede Stripped.
Accessories: Big Shot, 2-1/2” Circle Punch, 2” Circle Punch, Essentials Wooden Elements, Sponges.
The Guy Greeting stamp set is an excellent stamp set for all types of guy cards. This is likely going to be my go to set for many male cards. I will just have to change up the style, colours and papers.
The guy Greeting stamp set is made of Photopolymar. Notice the curved sentiment on the front of the card. This is one of the benefits of Photopolymar…they are bendable and can be shaped into different shapes.
I used the Big Shot and the Circle Card Thinlits for the card base. I also added the extension so that the card folds out further than normal.
How do make an extension on the Circle Card Thinlit? Well, for you I have a video. To view the video, click on this link – Circle Card Thinlit Extensions
