Celebrate a 65th Birthday with the Giggle Greetings

To celebrate a 65th birthday is awesome.

It seems today that 65 is the new 55 of yesterday.  So why is that…we are living healthier, active lives.  This is a good thing. Later this week, a friend is celebrating his 65th birthday and I used the Giggle Greeting stamp set to create his card. Ok, I can’t tell you who it is because it’s a surprise birthday, not that he would be checking out my blog…stamping and card making is not his fort-ay.  Give him a week at the lake and he is good to go.

Oh well, we doesn’t know what he is missing haha!!

The Giggle Greetings stamp is a fun stamp set and other types of cards can be created using this stamp set.

The cat with the fur ball is only 1 of 4 different images and sentiments,  This is one for someone who is feeling down and needs their spirits lifted, one for congratulations on an achievement, and another one for a pun related to aging.  These images all represent a whimisical feeling and are great for male or females (and we know how had it is to create a mail card)

Accessories: Big Shot, Argyle Emboss Folder, Subtles Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Wiggly Eyes, Markers: Basic Grey, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, Sahara Sand, Aqua painter.

Don’t you just love the wiggly eyes on this guy?  They are a retired embellishment from last year’s holiday catalogue, but I am sure you could pick some up from a dollar store.  These eyes just add a bit more fun to the card.
