Broadway Bound Birthday

With the Broadway Bound Birthday Suite you can literally get your birthday wishes in lights. And,  it’s not hard with to create glitzy birthday cards, scrapbook pages, and boxes and bags with the Broadway Birthday stamp set and the Broadway Lights Framelits Dies.  The suite is bright and festive and with elegant papers.  Each package of DSP has 12 sheets of paper with 1 side being gold foil.

Recipe

Stamps: Broadway Birthday.

Ink:Lemon Lime Twist, Tuxedo Black Memento, Lovely LIpstick, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White Craft.

Paper:Basic Black, Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Accessories: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Pinewood Planks Textured Embossing Folder, Big Shot Embossing Mat, Gold Gel Pen.

Details:

• Emboss a panel of Lovely Lipstick cardstock using the Pinewood Planks Textured Embossing Folder.  Use the embossing die (long strip) and the Embossing Mat to form an interesting pattern.  Before layering the DSP, attach the pattern at the bottom of the DSP layers.
• Die cut the Marquee from Basic Black cardstock.  Die cut another one from Whisper White. Ink the “Wish” stamp with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Stamp on the leftover Whisper White from the Marquee.
• Ink the dot stamp with the Whisper White craft ink and stamp over the Lemon LIme Twist.
• Attach the Whisper White  Marquee to the Black Marquee.  Color the circles with a gold gel pen.
• Ink the “Make A” with Lovely Lipstick ink and stamp on a scrap of Blushing Bride cardstock. Do not stamp the line below the sentiment. You can use a mask so that the ink is not on the line or ink the stamp with a  Lovely LIpstick marker.
• Stamp the “It’s Your Birthday” below the “WISH”
• Cut out the birthday hat from the DSP with the hat framelit and attach to marquee bottom right.

That’s it! Now you have Broadway Bound Birthday Marquee.

Don’t forget the inside of the card.

Stamp a candle with Lovely Lipstick and the flame with Daffodil Delight. Add a sentiment of your choice.
