Bright Birthday Wishes – Memories of Summer
Bright Birthday Wishes
Do bright birthday wishes cards remind you of summer with it’s blue skies and brilliant sunshine? Yes, I am dreaming of summer and we still have a while to go. Although today, there is brilliant sunshine in a cloudless sky, so I am grateful.
This is a Birthday Card for my DIL as she enjoys summer and all that it brings…ok, maybe not the bugs.
To make this card bright, I chose turquoise blue, sunshine yellow and used black as an accent color.
Recipe
Stamps: Balloon Bash.
Ink/Markers: VersaMark.
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Moonlight DSP.
Accessories: Crushed Curry Emboss Powder, Tempting Turquoise Emboss Powder, Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine, Cute Clip.
This is a quick card to put together. Just one thing to remember though, use your Embossing Buddy to remove the static from you card stock before you start embossing.
The Embossing Buddy will prevent glitter and extra embossing powder from sticking to your project. A little must have if you like to emboss your projects.

I love the chalkboard feel and the bright colors, I will have to try this pairing of yellow with Turquoise it looks great……we are enjoying some sunshine here after all the wet weather from the nearby cyclones in Queensland….I hope Spring makes an appearance for you soon! xx
