A Bride to Be Is Beautiful
A Bride To Be Is So Beautiful
A bride preparing for her wedding is so beautiful. It is the anticipation of the wedding day, the preparations that go before the big day, the family and friends that surround her and the celebrations along the way.
Yesterday I attended a shower for a bride to be and it was a wonderful celebration with family and friends. She was glowing and the smile never left her face.
Of course, I did a hand-crafted card. And, yes, it does have a sneak peek from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue.
Stamps: Flower Shop(c – 130942, w- 130939, p94 2013/14 Annual Catalogue), Label Love (c – 130622 w- 130619 p33 2013/14 Annual Catalogue),
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Baked Brown Sugar, Garden Green, Velum, 2013/15 In Color DSP Stack
Ink: Versa Mark
Accessories: Big Shot, Deco Labels Collection, Perfect Polka Dots Emboss Folder, Pretty Print Emboss Folder, Markers: Raspberry Ripple, Pink Pirouette/Rose Red Ribbon (2013 Occasions Catalogue), Artisan Label Punch, White Emboss Powder, Pearl Jewels
Did you spot the new product from the Holiday Catalogue? It’s the Pretty Print Emboss Folder. I can envision this embossing folder to be used in so many ways.
Wondering how I did the flowers? The images are stamped in Vellum with Versa Mark and embossed with white embossing powder. The flowers are colored using markers on the back of the image. This gives the flowers a stained glass appearance.
I can’t show you the folder but I can show you the stamp set and the matching punch I used. Tags are such a fun way to add interest to a card and the different sentiments with this set will take you many places.
One question that I get asked is “What do you do with your left over designer papers and ribbon”, Well, use them to wrap your gifts. So I did just that. I used paper from the In Colors Stack that has been retired and ribbon from the 2013 Spring Catalogue. The bride is a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator so perhaps she will salvage some of the ribbon to use on her own creations.
I will be heading off to Salt Lake City this week, so check in with my blog to see the fun things that are happening at convention. This year’s celebration is going to be a great one, full of fun things to see and do and of course there is always the PRIZE PATROL.
Happy Stamping
