Fall is Coming with Its Vibrant Colors The Harvest Meadow Suite is Perfect

Fall is coming with its  vibrant and regal colors. We see the vibrant colors in cozy sweaters, pumpkins, leaves to name a few.  This is a great time to create cards and scrapbook pages using the Harvest Meadow Suite.  The rich colors in this suite include: Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, Soft Succulent, Misty Moonlight and Crumb Cake.

Fall is Coming

Do you call it Fall or Autumn?  People in Canada and the United States use Fall while the United Kingdom use Autumn. However, there are no strict rules and the two words are interchangeable.

Nature’s Harvest Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Nature’s Harvest.

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Cajun Craze.

Paper (including measurements): Basic White: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with bone folder.

Cajun Craze – 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. and 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″,

Basic White – 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, and scrap for sentiment, 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside panel.

Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper – 3-3/4″ x 5″.

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Harvest Dies, Layering Circles, 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon, Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots, Stampin’ Blends, Cajun Craze Combo, Crumb Cake Combo, Mossy Meadow Combo, Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots

Assemble the Card

  • Die cut the Basic White cs with a circle (the largest that can fit on the  3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ cardstock.
  • Stamp the large Cone Flower on the circle with Tuxedo Black Ink.  Place the flower so that it is centers in the circle.  Color with the Stampin’ Blends, shading where needed. Use the Early espresso Write Marker and splatter ink on the circle.
  • Use the scallop circle to fit the 4″ x 4″ Cajun Craze cardstock. Adhere to Basic White Circle.
  • Attach the Cajun Craze panel to the card base and the DSP to the Cajun Craze.
  • Place the circle on the DSP and adhere with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the sentiment with Cajun Craze ink on Basic White scrap.  Die cut with matching Die.  Cut 6 ” of the 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon and cut down the middle.  Fold in half and attach to the back of the sentiment.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach to card.
  • Place 2 small and 1 large Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Bronze Dots on the card front.
  • Stamp a sentiment on Basic White panel and attach to the inside of the card.

Northern Lights Technique with the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set

Northern Light Technique is one that I have wanted to try for sometime.  But, never seemed to get it done.  Well, when I saw the peaceful Cabin Stamp set, I thought, perfect!! This technique is a bit messy, but when does a stamper ever complain about getting inky fingers.

Northern Lights Technique

Peaceful Cabin Card Recipe

Stamp sets: Peaceful Cabin, Peaceful Deer

Inks: Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Polished Pink, StaZon Black, Whisper White Craft, Memento Tuxedo Black.

Paper (including cutting measurements)

  • Basic Black cardstock – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with bone folder
  • Polished Pink – 4-7/8″ x 3-3/8″
  • Shimmer White – 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″
  • Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside panel)

It’s taken me forever to do this video.  Every once in a while, life throws you a curve.  I haven’t been able to sit for long periods of time (not that it’s good for you). I did something to my hip a month ago and then as a result of being misaligned, the sciatic nerve in the other leg started acting up.  And, boy having both things at once is a bit too much. About the only thing is rest, chiropractic adjustments, massage guns, ice packs and heat.

Today is the first time in a month that I can feel some improvement.  Fingers crossed.  Wow is me, but I will get over it.

Use the Paper Lattice card and the Gold Leafing flakes to create a beautiful and elegant background for the focal panel. A combination of the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the gold flakes is an easy technique.

Does Counting Sheep Work Sneak Peek Aug 3 – Sept 30, 2021 SAB

Does counting sheep work when you want to fall asleep?  Is that what happens when people have insomnia? There is nothing worse than laying in bed and you know that you have to get up in a few hours.

What do the experts say?  Well, there is no evidence that counting the sheep will help people fall asleep faster.  What it can do though, is keep you from falling asleep. Maybe the best thing to do if you can’t sleep, is get up and make cards.

Counting Sheep Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Counting Sheep.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Gray, White Craft Stampin’ Ink, Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate Duo.

Paper: Smoky Slate, Basic White, Basic Gray, Early Espresso, Basic Black

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Painted Texture 3D Emboss Folder, Sheep Dies, Playful Alphabet, Black Dots, Black 3/8″ Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

Cutting Measurements

  • Smoky Slate (card base) – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with bone folder for a crisp fold, scrap for sentiment.
  • Basic Grey – 4″ x 5-1/4″.
  • Basic White: 6″ x 2-1/2″ . 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside panel.
  • Early Espresso:  Scrap for fence.
  • Organdy Ribbon: 2 pieces at 4-3/4″.

How to Create the Card

  • Ink the Painted Texture 3D Emboss Folder with the craft White ink.  Insert the Basic Grey cardstock into the the Emboss Folder and run through the Stampin’ Emboss machine. Set aside. TIP: apply the craft ink to the side of the folder with the Stampin’ Up! words printed on it.
  • Attach the 2 pieces of ribbon across the top of the Smoky Slate panel and anchor on the back of the panel with double sided Tear & Tape adhesive.  Adhere the panel to the card base.
  • Stamp the sheep on Basic white cs with Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut with the sheep dies.  Colour the sheep  faces and legs with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. Add the color around the body where the darker lines are.  Die cut the sheep.
  • Die cut the fence from Early Espresso cardstock.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Basic Black and die cut with the scalloped die.  Attach over the ribbons with dimensionals.
  • Attach 3 Black Dots below the sentiment.
  • Die cut 1, 2 and 3 from Basic Black cardstock .  Arrange the sheep and fence on the card front and when pleased with the arrangement, attach the fence with adhesive and the sheep with dimensionals.
  • Adhere the numbers to the sheep.
  • Stamp or write a message on the inside panel. Add an image if you wish.

Now, pick up your card, admire it and send it off. Someone you know may be wondering “does counting sheep work?”

Delivering Cheer Sneak Peek from the Aug – Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue

Delivering Cheer is just not for the Holiday Season.  This stamp set has a variety of images that would be good for a birthday, Thanksgiving (Fall) and yes, Christmas.  Make the card more generic by adding the Best Year stamp set. The Paper Piecing Technique contributes to the interest on this card.

Paper Piecing is a very simple technique but highly effective.  Sometimes I forget about the easy ones. Do you? It’s the skirt on this card that adds the interest.  The bottom portion of the stamp (dress) is stamped with Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.  The hardest part is the fussy cutting.  Remember the DSP sale going on.  Use the SHOP with ME LINK.

Create the Card

  • Die Cut the Basic White panel with the 2nd largest Scalloped Contour Dies. Stamp the parcel image with Tuxedo Black ink.  Line up the skirt and shoes stamp with the top image and stamp with Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Stamp this bottom image again on the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper and fussy cut with the Paper Snips Scissors. Lay this piece aside.
  • Color the parcels with the Stampin’ Blends, the arms & legs with Pale Pink Blends and the shoes with Polished Pink Blends.
  • Stamp “Hello” with Evening Evergreen ink on the Basic White Panel.
  • Cut the Evening Evergreen panel with the largest die. Layer onto the card base and adhere the image panel to the Evening Evergreen panel.
  • On the inside panel, stamp another sentiment  and attach.
  • Attach the 3 Loose

Bloom Where You’re Planted is a phrase that you may or may not heard. What does it mean? As we get back to a more normal life, we can do a little focusing on blooming ourselves.

 

Bloom Where You're Planted

It means, a person should take advantage of the opportunities they have in their life and be grateful for the present situation. At times, if you’re unhappy with where you are  in life, you may struggle with this notion. And, yes for 18 months, we, as a world, have been unhappy in the place we are in the present.

But that too will pass as we  go through the various stages of reopening. We need to control our thoughts, accept challenges and think positively, and value what you do have. Practice these stages to be successful.

Stamp Set: Plentiful Plants, Timeless Tropics.

Ink: Evening Evergreen, Cinnamon Cider, Garden Green, Granite Grey.

Paper: Evening Evergreen, Basic White, Just Jade, Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP,

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Perfect Plants Dies, Story Label Punch,

Pearl Jewels, Stampin’ Blends – Cinnamon Cider, Vanilla Ribbon.

Cardstock & Paper Cutting Measurements

Everything Evergreen – Card Base – 5-1/2″ x 12″.  Score on long side at 1-3/4″, 4-3/4″ , 7-3/4″. Scraps for Sentiment Frame.

Cut 2 pieces of DSP – need to coordinate – 5-1/4″ X 1-1/2″, 5-1/4″ X 2-3/4″, 5-1/2″ X 4″. Set aside some DSP to die cut and/or fussy cut plants

Basic White: 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. scraps for plant pots, plants, sentiment

Soft Succulent: scraps for macramé hanger.

Let’s Put The Card Together

  • Cut the card base from Evening Evergreen and score.  See Score line placements above. Fold the base so that the smallest panel is on top.
  • Attach the DSP to the appropriate panels – front panel, second panel and third panel.
  • Adhere the Basic White Panel to the back of the second panel.

It’s Time to Decorate Your Card

  • Use Soft Succulent cs  and Evening Evergreen cs and die cut 2 Macramé hangers.
  • Ink plant stamps with various greens, i.e. Evening Evergreen, Just Jade, and/or Garden Green. Die cut with the Perfect Plants Dies,
  • Fussy cut additional plants & posts from the DSP.
  • Attach the various elements to the card panels.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on Basic White.  Use Evening Evergreen ink. Punch out with the Story Label Punch. Punch another label from Evening Evergreen, cut in half lengthwise and attach each half to the Basic White Sentiment.  Leave a border on the top & bottom.
  • Stamp a secondary sentiment (or not) on the Basic White panel on the back of the second panel.
  • Measure the ribbon by loosely wrapping the ribbon around the card.  Add some length for the bow.  Place a bit of adhesive on the back of the card and lay ribbon across the adhesive, bring both ends around to the front and tie on a bow on the right side.  Trim the ends.
  • Color small pearls with Cinnamon Cider Dark Stampin’ Blend.  Attach to the Macramé Holders.

A WOW Happy Birthday Card with Hand-Penned Bundle

The How’s and Ways to Create It

  • Stamp the flower bouquet with Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. Color, using the Stampin’ Blends and die cut with the matching Penned Flowers Dies,
  • On the card inside, attach the strip of DSP.  Align the edges.
  • Line up the curved die from the Basic Border Dies on the card base (white).  Make sure that only the DSP will show when the card is closed.
  • Do the same with the Daffodil Delight cardstock panel.  Make sure that the white card base is  showing about 1/2″. Line up the Pool Party cardstock panel, making sure that the Daffodil Delight cs shows about 1/2′  See picture above.
  •  Adhere the Daffodil Delight panel to the  card base and the Pool Party panel to the Daffodil Delight.  Make sure that all layers line up at the folded edge.
  • Stamp the sentiment on Basic White cs with Bumblebee ink and punch with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
  • Color the Crinkled Ribbon with a Stampin’ Blend (Dark). Loop and attach to the back of the flower bouquet. Attach to card front.
  • Adhere the sentiment to card front with Dimensionals.
  • Color 2 Pearls with Daffodil Delight (Dark) Stampin’ Blend.

Sailing Home for Fathers Day with a Fun Fold Card

Sailing Home for Fathers Day card is a great way to celebrate Dad who spent time on the water.  My  Dad  served  in  the  Canadian  Navy  during WW2 and  was  posted  to a small  frigate  off  the  coast  of  BC.  And,  when  he  married Mom, they opted to stay in BC and raise our family. When us kids were teenagers, he also built a speed boat that we learned to water  ski behind. Dad is 97 years young and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren hope that we get to celebrate more Father’s Day with him.

Father’s Day Sailing Card

Stamp Sets: Sailing Home, A Wish for Everything.

Ink: Crumb Cake, Memento Tuxedo Black, Misty Moonlight, Granite Gray, Early Espresso.

Paper: Misty Moonlight, Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Sea & Sand Designer Series Paper (discontinued on June 30th).

Accessories: Stampin’ Cutting & Emboss Machine, Smooth Sailing Dies, Word Wishes Dies, Navy & Ivory Baker’s Twine, Stampin’ Blends: Granite Gray and Cinnamon Cider.

Sailing Home for Father's Day

Paper Cutting Measurements

  • Misty Moonlight – 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, score at 2-3/4″. Cut center piece to 2” x 4 1/2”, and score at 1/2”, 2 1/4”, and 4”. 1-1/4″ x 6-1/2 (score at 1/2″ on both ends)
  • Cinnamon Cider – scraps for rope & wheel,
  • Basic White -cut 2 panels at 2-1/2 “x 4″ ( for the back), 2-1/2″ x 6” for sailboats, anchor and Happy Father’s Day die cuts.
  • Sea & Sand Designer Series Paper  -4″ x 5-1/4″, and 1 3/4″ x 3 1/2″.

Create the Card

  • Gently fold the middle panel. Attach the DSP to the card base and the middle panel,  Apply adhesive to the tabs (fold to the back) on the middle piece and attach to the back panel (line up the center folds).

Sailing Home for Father's Day

  • Fold the tabs on the long piece to the back and attach to either side of the card base.
  • Die cut the words from Basic White cardstock and attach to the Misty Moonlight strip.  The strip will lay flat when the card is laid flat.
  • Stamp the sailboat on Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink, the anchor on Basic White with Granite Gray.  Die cut with matching dies.
  • Die cut the rope and wheel from Cinnamon Cider cardstock and sponge with Early Espresso to bring out the embossed features.
  • Use Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blend to color the boat hull and Granite Gray Stampin’ Blend to shade the sails. Attach the elements to the center panel and the back panel.
  • Stamp the lighthouse with Misty Moonlight ink on one of the panels and the sentiment from A Wish for Everything stamp in Misty Moonlight on the other panel.
  • Attach these to the back of the card..
  • Tie a bow with the Baker’s Twine and attach to the upper fold of the center panel.

The a Wish for Everything stamp and matching dies can create just about any type of sentiment for any occasion.

So by changing up the sentiments, you can have a different card and it would still be similar to the Sailing Home for Father’s Day card.

Dandelion Wishes and Dragonflies Card Recipe

Stamp Sets: Ornate Thanks, DragonFly Garden, Garden Wishes.

Inks: VersaMark, Jet Black STAZON®.

Paper: Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Basic White.

Accessories: Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine, Dandy Wishes Dies, Thanks & Hello Emboss Folder, Dragonflies Builder Punch, Mossy Meadow Twine, Lady Bug Trinkets, Soft Pastels Assortment, Stamparatus, Blending Brushes.

Cutting Measurements for Paper & Trim.

  • Mossy Meadow – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with your Bone Folder.
  • Daffodil Delight – 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
  • Poppy Parade – 4-5/8″‘3-5/8″
  • Basic White – 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ Scraps for the flower and dragonflies.
  • Mossy Meadow Trim – 4″

Create the Card

  • Attach the Daffodil Delight cardstock to the Mossy Meadow card base.
  • Emboss the Basic White panel using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Thanks & Hello Emboss Folder (I used the Hello).
  • Apply VersaMark ink to the embossed panel and color using the Soft Pastels (Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow.
  • Attach the embossed panel to the Poppy Parade Panel.
  • Use Stamparatus to stamp the dragonflies on the Basic White panel with VersaMark ink. – Leave the stamps mounted on the clear plate.
  • Color using the Soft Pastels and distribute color using the Blending Brushes. Ink the Dragonfly stamps with the  STAZON® ink.   Stamp over the colored dragonflies and punch using the Dragonfly Punch,
  • Stamp the Dandelion from the Garden Wishes stamp using STAZON® ink.  Color the flower with the Soft Pastels.  Use a Q-tip to color the stem and the Blending Brush to color the flower.
  • Stamp the “thanks’ from the Ornate Thanks set with VersaMark.  Color each 2 letters with the Soft Pastels.
  • Place the flower and the dragonflies on the embossed panel and attach with Dimensionals.  Fold the Mossy Meadow Trim in half and attach to the pane over the trim with Glue Dots or Tear & Tape Adhesive.
  • Place the Lady Bug Trinket on the front of the card..Soft Pastels Assortment

Soft Pastels Coloring Medium Will Help You Create WOW Cards

Soft Pastels coloring medium is another way to put the WOW into your cards. The are easy to use and no right or wrong way to use them in your paper crafting.

 

New Past

What are pastels?  Pastels are chalk that can be used with various coloring tools.  You can use them by rubbing a colour from the stick on scrap paper and picking up the pigment with a brush or q-tip and color an image.  Use your finger to blend the colours or the Blending Brushes.

Also you can emboss a panel of cardstock or watercolor paper and dab VersaMark on the embossed areas, and rub the area with the pastel and you will get a beautiful look.

For this card, I used the very simple method and the Blending Brushes.

Greeting Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Color & Contour.

Ink: Memento Black Tuxedo, Highland Heather.

Paper: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Basic White.

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Scalloped Contour Dies, Soft Pastels, Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon, Blending Brushes.

Cutting Measurements for Cardstock, etc.

Gorgeous Grape- 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with Bone Folder.

Highland Heather: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

Basic White: –  4″ x 3″, scraps for flowers and 4″ x 5-1/4″ inside panel.

Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon – 7″.

Soft Pastels

Create the Card

  • Die cut the Highland Heather cardstock with the largest scalloped die from with the Scalloped Contour Dies.  Attach to the Gorgeous Grape card Base.
  • Cut the Basic White panel with the 3rd largest die from the Scalloped Contour Dies.  On this panel stamp the sentiment in the left top corner and the splatters using Fresh Freesia ink. Load a Blending Brush with Fresh Freesia ink and swirl on the Basic White panel.
  • Stamp the two flowers on the Basic White scraps. Scribble the Coastal Cabana,  Mossy Meadow, Gorgeous Grape and Daffodil Delight on scrap paper.
  • Use a Blending Bush or a Sponge Dauber to pick up the dust and apply to the flower petals and the stem and leaves. You do not have to use a fixative to make sure the color stays on the paper.
  • Stamp and/or decorate the inside Basic White panel.

This is an easy and simple card and can be done by any stamper from beginner to avid.  Just have fun and get your feet wet using the Soft Pastels coloring medium.

Macramé Potted Plant Hangers are making an entry into the world of paper crafting.  Isn’t it funny that whatever is old often becomes new again.  How many of you remember braiding and weaving macramé cord into patterns and then hanging them from the ceiling on hooks?

Yes, it is a  trend as we move back to natural décor.

Stampin’ Up! released a stamp set, dies and an embossing folder in the Annual 2021-2022 Catalogue that replicates the natural décor .  

 

Macramé Potted Plant Hangers

Potted Plants Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Plentiful Plants.

Ink: Cajun Craze, Cinnamon Cider, Granite Gray, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen.

Paper ; Gray Granite, Basic White, Cinnamon Cider, Evening Evergreen, Basic Black,  Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper, Linen Specialty Paper.  

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Perfect Plant Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Genial Gems, Linen Twine.

Cutting Measurements

Granite Gray – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ score at 4-1/4″ and burnish with Bone Folder.

Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper – 4-1/4″ x 4″. (see photo above for my choice).

Basic White: scraps for leaves, and pots , 4’X 5-1/4″ inside panel.

Linen Specialty Paper ; -2-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ – for sentiment – the Linen Specialty Paper has an adhesive backing, so remember to take it off before you apply to card.

Cinnamon Cider – Scraps for  shelf 

Evening Evergreen – Scraps for Plant

Basic Black – Scraps for pot holder.

Linen Thread – 8″

 

Macramé Potted Plant Hangers

Create the Card

  • Adhere the DSP to the front of Granite Gray card base.
  • Stamp one pot with Cajun Craze ink, one with Cinnamon Cider ink and one wit Granite Gray ink.
  • Use Soft Succulent ink and stamp a set of 3 leaves and the cactus. Stamp the other leaves with Evening Evergreen ink. Stamp the 3rd pot with Granite Gray ink.
  • Die cut the pot holder from Basic Black and the  other cactus greenery from Every Evergreen cs. 
  • Stamp a sentiment on the Linen Specialty Paper, cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
  • Lay the Cinnamon Cider shelf on the DSP.  Arrange the pots to your satisfaction .  Place the leaves into the pots and attach with Glue Dots.
  • Attach the one pot to the pot holder with dabs of adhesive.  Use Dimensionals to attach the plant pots to the shelf.
  • Tie a bow with the Linen Thread the attach to pot.
  • Place sentiment so that it appears to be hanging from the shelf. 
  • Decorate the inside panel and/or stamp a sentiment.  Attach to inside of the  card. 

Wow and you are done!

Beautiful 2021 to 2023 In Colours For the Canada Inks Up Blog Hop

The beautiful 2021-2023 In Colours are showcased for this month’s Canada Inks Up Blog Hop.  Every year, Stampin’ Up! introduces a new set of In Colours which will be available for 2 years.  The colours are on trend with the Pantone Colors and this year is no exception.  Can you see the colour that I used in the card below in this chart?  How about the 1st swatch on the 4th row?  Can  you  find  soft  succulent?2021 Pantone Colors

 

So, here is the card created using Fresh Freesia and  Soft  Succulent.

Flowers of Friendship Card Recipe

Stamp Set: Flowers of Friendship

Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia, Tuxedo Black Memento. 

Paper; Basic White, Gorgeous Grape, 2021-2023 In colour 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Flowers & Leaves Punch, Blending Brushes, Stampin’ Blends: Fresh Freesia Combo, Soft Succulent Combo, Rhinestone Jewels, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon.

Cutting Measurements

Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″,  Score at 4″ and use Bone Folder to get a crisp fold, 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ – cut using 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Die

Gorgeous Grape: 5-1/4″x 4″ – cut using the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Die.

Fresh Freesia DSP: 3-1/2″ x 5″

Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon

Put It All Together

  • Cut the smaller Basic White cs with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die.
  • Use the Blending Brush and Fresh Freesia ink and lay down colour in the center of the piece of Basic White cardstock.
  • Stamp the flower and stems using Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the center of the Basic White. Angle the image slightly.
  • Use Tuxedo Black ink and stamp 1 large flower, 2 small flowers and 2 sets of leaves.  Punch using the Flowers & Leaves Punch.
  • Color the flowers with the Fresh Freesia Blends, color the leaves with Soft Succulent Blends. 
  • Cut the flowers into 4 petals.  Trim where needed.
  • Attach the larger petals to the inked flowers with Glue Dots – 2 petals on the bottom and 1 petal on the top (use Mini Dimensionals to attach.)  Use the same process for the smaller flowers. Attach the leaves with Mini Dimensionals.
  • Colour 6 small Rhinestone Jewels with the Dark Fresh Freesia Blends.  Attach 1 Rhinestone to the bottom of the each flower.  
  • Stamp a sentiment in the left bottom image panel with Gorgeous Grape ink.  Tie a bow with the Gorgeous Grape 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon and attach with a Glue Dot.
  • Attach the Gorgeous Grape cs to the card base.  Follow with the DSP and your finished image panel.  The image panel can be angled if that is your preference.
  • Attach the remaining Rhinestones around the sentiment.
  • Decorate the inside and the envelope for an added WOW.
