Birthday Flowers From the Flower Patch
Birthday Flowers Can Be A Pick-Me-Up
Flowers on your birthday is a treat…well, at least for most women. Although there are a few who think that flowers are a waste of money. Not me. I love to receive flowers and I love to give flowers.
Flowers are beautiful and can brighten a spot on a dull day. Well, the birthday person will get flowers, however, they are not of the living species – the flowers, not the birthday person.. Flowers made with stamps and ink to decorate a card – none the less they are flowers.
Recipe
Stamps: Flower Patch (p-134207 p 156, 2014/15 Annual Catalogue).
Ink: Soft Sky, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Tangelo Glow, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive.
Paper: Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Calypso Coral, Gold Soiree DSP.
Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Flower Fair Framelits, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Pearl Jewels, Soft Sky Seam Binding Ribbon.
This stamp set is made of Photopolymer and you can literately see right through them. Love these stamps! It makes layering your stamps so easy because you can see where you are stamping and you don’t have to pull out your Stamp-a-ma-Jig. Not that I am opposed to using the “jig”, however, it makes stamping a whole lot faster. That is, of course if you want to do stamping fast.
Check out the Gold Soiree Specialty paper. It’s so delicious. Every sheet features Metallic Gold ink and if you like gold, then this paper if for you. Any of the sheets would do nicely on a card featuring birthday flowers. Click the link on the image below.
I love giving and receiving flowers too and your card I am sure will be a huge hit with these stamped blossoms and pretty colors. xx
