Birthday Card
My first post in my newly created blog is a Birthday card.
A stack of Birthday cards on hand is a great thing to have in your arsenal. How many times have you needed one and you forgot to get to the store to pick one up.
The card I created could easily be used for many different recipients masculine, feminine, children, fun, etc.
Stamps: You’re Amazing (c-126722, w-126720, p 33 2012/13 AC) Paper: Natural Whites, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Festival DSP Ink: Island Indigo, Black Stazon, Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Framelits Dies, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Markers, 2011/2013 Incolor Brads I had fun with this card as I used a Houndstooth print from the Festive DSP in the 2012 Holiday catalogue. To add some more dimension to the paper, I then embossed using the Big Shot and the Houndstooth Embossing Folder. The effect of combining the paper and the embossing made the card even more masculine. By changing out the DSP, you can achieve an entirely different feeling. PS, the blog is still undergoing some changes but I wanted to get it out there. Hope you enjoy. Have a great day. Karen
