Baby Girl Celebration
Baby Girl Celebration
A sweet baby girl coming into a family is so precious and is a real cause for celebration. Baby Sophia made her entrance into a family who is filled with joy at her arrival.
Babies are a source of joy and this one is no exception. She will have a big brother and 2 chocolate labs to watch over her.
I created this card using the new 2016/18 In Color – Sweet Sugarplum for the ink, cardstock and DSP. The Blooms and Bliss DSP is so pretty and I will be able to use it for many cards, projects and even some scrapbooking. This card also uses the new Sparkle embossing folder which can be used for many different themed cards. The other new products used are the Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine and the In Color Enamel Shapes.

I wanted to add some depth to the baby carriage and make it stand out from the embossed panel. To achieve this, I first stamped the carriage in Tip Top Taupe for the wheels and handle and then stamped another image using Sweet Sugarplum ink. After die cutting with the carriage framelit, I trimmed the wheels and handle and added this piece of the previously stamped carriage using dimensionals.
