Absolutely Incredible Kid Day Celebration
Absolutely Incredible Kid Day March 20, 2014
Absolutely Incredible Kid Day, do you know what this is, or where it came from? I did some digging and this is what I found.
As parents, we think and know we have amazing children so why not tell them that they are amazing. The Absolutely Incredible Kid Day was started in 1997 and it mainly a letter writing day to let your children know some of the amazing things that they do. While we may tell them that they are absolutely incredible, why not put it in writing so that they are see it and cherish the words. We all know that the written word is powerful. Remember when a teacher wrote on your report card how well you were doing at school? We were tickled pink.
I know that I have amazing kids including their spouses and now I have amazing grandchildren that fill my heart and life with joy.
My eldest grandson’s birthday was last month and I created this card for him that let’s him know that he is awesome.

I love the blue and yellow combination in the card as it reminds me of a sunny day and a blue sky. When I did this card, I was so longing for Spring. And yes, it finally looks like I am finally getting my wish. Today, there is a large yellow ball planted squarely in the middle of the blue sky.
Celebrate the Absolutely Incredible Kid Day with your children and grandchildren. They will hold the memory forever.
