A Very Special Christmas Card
With the Christmas and Holiday season upon us, I would like to share a very special Christmas Card.
While it’s not a card in the sense that we know a card, it is very special because it has come from my youngest grandchild.
He’s 4 and a boy, so not too much into crafting but with the help of his Mom, he made it happen.
Isn’t this just the cutest? It’s a hand print and painted to resemble Santa Clause. His palm and thumb make Santa’s hat and his fingers make the beard.
This types of gifts are so memorable. It will be displayed on the wall so that we can track how much he has grown. I have hand prints of my other 2 grandchildren and they are always measuring when they come for a visit.
Here is the bag that it came in. Sagan did attach the felt images to the bag but I suspect that his Mom cut them out.
Just how cute is this…and a recyclable bag. It will be used for many Christmases to come.
Karen,
OMG how adorable! THIS is what the season is all about! This will be cherished for many many Christmases to come. Nothing like the memories that warm the heart. Hugs.
I love it! I still have a handprint I made 42 years ago!
