Rubber Stamps Plus Opacity Equals More Depth
Rubber Stamps Plus Opacity
What does “rubber stamps plus opacity equals more depth” mean? Stampin’ Up! manufactured a stamp known as a Distinktive* stamp. Ink the stamp and lay down on cardstock and you can see the different opacities. The different opacities give the image more depth. In fact, the image appears like a photograph.
*
Look carefully at the above image and you can see how giving the stamp different opacities gives the feeling of a black and white photograph. What is opacity? Opacity is the degree to which the light and dark areas are reflective.
*Patent Pending
To start the process, a photograph is taken of an image and the image is then transferred to a rubber stamp.
