Sometimes we all need extra holiday season money.  Here is how you can get it! Build a business as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Of course, like any business opportunity, there are always questions.  And, I will answer some of the questions .

Why would I start my business today?

There are a number of questions that you need to ask yourself before becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  Would today be a good day to make that commitment?  Maybe not!

Here’s why: ask yourself the question why do I want to become a demonstrator?  It’s it simply for the discount? Or, do I want to build a profitable business.  I say profitable because so often people sign on the dotted line without consideration about the work that needs to go into a business. Yes, it does take work to build a business.  It just not about the sales, it’s about how much money you have left at the end of the month.  So consider the expenses that you will incur during the month.

Sales – Expenses = Profit

Identify Your Reasons

Do you need extra money to purchase your holiday gifts, have gatherings, a family vacation, new kitchen.  Not everyone has the same needs.

Once you have identified your needs, ask yourself this question: Do I have the time and the wherewithal to run a business?  Yes, you will have to find customers.  There a lots of places to find your customers: friends, neighbours, and/or relatives.  However, to build a sustainable business, you must expand beyond those places, How about work, the library, groups that you belong to. This step is about brainstorming.

How Do I Run My Business

Once you have answered these few questions, you may decide that running your own business is not for you and that is okay.  You can run your business anyway that feel is right for you.  Sharing your knowledge of paper crafting is very gratifying.  You can hold in person or online classes or clubs, workshops, and/or stamp camps. Stampin’ Up! does not tell you how to run your business.  You run your business based on what is right for you.
