Thank You Handmade Cards Send Appreciation

Send Thank You handmade cards to show your appreciation.  In return, those that receive the cards know that you are thinking of them.

So, when is it appropriate to send a thank you card?  Anytime that you need to make someone feel they are appreciate.  So often, people go out of their way to do something nice for you.  We say “thank you”, but a  card is tangible, people can see it and feel it.

Recipe

Stamps: Falling Flowers, That’s The Tag.  (Click on the links, as all bundles in the catalogues are retiring.  Even if the stamps and the die cuts carryover to the new catalogue, they will not be bundled and you will not receive the 10% discounts on the items0

Ink/Markers: Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Old Olive, Watermelon Wonder, VersaMark.

Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo

Accessories: Big Shot, May Flower Framelit Dies, Sponge Daubers, Rhinestone Jewels, Subtles Enamel Shapes (Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron), 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Dots (Flirty Flamingo), White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Are you stuck for an idea or do not have time to come up with your design?  You can CASE a card. CASE is short for “copy and share everything”  There is no disgrace for copying a card, in fact, that is what I did for this card.  I CASE’d the catalogue!  Stampin’ Up! catalogues are a great way to help you to design card. Each catalogue offers you many ideas. In fact, Stampin’ Up! encourages CASING.

If you don’t want to copy a card exactly, changing a couple of elements such as the colours, stamps, etc. will make the design your own.

Details:

• Create your own backgrounds by stamping images on Whisper White cardstock with VersaMark ink.
• Sprinkle embossing powder on the images and heat with Heat Tool.
• Sponge different colors over the embossed images.  Don’t forget to wipe the images with a clean cloth to bring out the pattern.
