Bags and Tags for Last Minute Gift Wrapping
Bags and Tags
If you have last minute gift wrapping to do, then bags and tags are your answer. Create your own bags and tags for your gift and the wrapping will become a gift as well.
I used the same methods to create both of the bags and tags, However, I did change up the papers, inks, stamps and embellishments.
Stamps: More Merry Messages.
Ink/Markers: Real Red.
Paper: Whisper White, Home for Christmas DSP, Holiday Fancy Foil Vellum.
Accessories: Big Shot, Lots of Labels Framelits, Real Red Ribbon, Silver Cording Trim, Gift Bag Punch Board, 1/8” Handheld Circle Punch.
For the Santa bag and tag, a 12″ x 12″ piece of the Home for Christmas DSP was used to create the bag. The additional feature is the cuff at the top. This was created by scoring at 2″ from the top and folding the paper down. This needs to be done before you punch and score to form the bag. In this way, it is the holes for the ribbon will be punched through both layers. The same was done for the Delicate Ornaments bag and tag. The vellum layer was added to the top of the DSP that was cut for the tag. I used the 2nd and 3rd largest Lots of Labels die cuts to form the base of the tags. For the Home for Christmas tag, I cut a Santa from a sheet of the Home for Christmas DSP and added him to the front of the tag.
Stamps: Embellished Ornaments.
Ink/Markers: VersaMark
Paper: Basic Black, Gold Foil, Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, Winter Wonderland DSP..
Accessories: Big Shot, Lots of Labels Framelits, Delicate Ornament Thinlits, Gold 1/2” Ribbon, Gold Cording Trim, Gold Embossing Powder, Pearl Jewels, Gift Bag Punch Board, 1/8” Handheld Circle Punch.
So, if you are running out of time, creating your own bags and tags will help in the process. Also, it’s a great way to use up the designer series paper.
Some of the products used for the bags and tags are on the retiring list and some are on the Year-End Sale at up to 60% off.
