What Happened on April 22, 1975 – Happy Birthday
What Happened On This Day In 1975?
What happened? My DSL was born, and that is pretty exciting. Yes, he is forty and when we look at what has happened over 40 years, it’s pretty astounding.
It’s always fun to look back and see what happened on this day, what music was popular, which books, etc.
Here is some of those items:
- Famous people born – besides my SIL
Greg Moore: Canadian race car driver (d. 1999).
Brian Manning;: wide receiver (Miami Dolphins).
Stijn Haeldermans;: Belgian soccer player (MVV).
Carlos Sastre: Spanish cyclist.
- Top 5 Songs:
Tony Orlando and Dawn – He Don’t Love You (Like I Love You).
Elton John – Philadelphia Freedom.
Freddy Fender – Before The Next Teardrop Falls.
Minnie Riperton – Lovin’ You.
B.J. Thomas – (Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song
- Top Movies:
Death Race 2000 – David Carradine and Sylvester Stallonne.
Capone – Ben Gazzara.
The Passenger – Jack Nicholson.
- Books Released:
The Moneychangers by Arthur Hailey.
Curtain by Agatha Christie.
Looking for Mr. Goodbar by Judith Rossner.
- As we are into the Hockey Playoff season, here is 1 more piece of trivia: Penguins 2-Isles 4-Quarterfinals-Penguins hold 3-2 lead.
Here is the birthday card that I created for him.
Recipe
Stamps: Just Saying.
Ink/Markers: Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, Hello Honey.
Paper: Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey, Sweet Dreams DSP.
Accessories: Big Shot, Word Bubbles Framelits, Banner Framelits, Arrows Embossing Folder, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits, Natural 5/8” Chevron Ribbon, Essentials Wooden Elements.
The next time that someone has a birthday or another significant event in their life, find out what happened on that day.
It’s rather fun to find trivia.
Have you tried using the Sweet Dreams DSP for projects other than “for Baby”. I was rather iffy when I first saw this paper in the Occasions Catalogue, however, I have fallen in love with it and I am trying to use in in every way that I can.
Do you find that the first time you see something, you go…well, I don’t know. Then after a while, it becomes like an obsession and you have to use it on and in everything.
Leave a comment and tell me your…well, I don’t know story or what happened on the day of your birthday.
