Bloom with Hope, Blendabilities and Swaps
Swaps -Blendabilities and the Bloom with Hope Hostess Stamp Set
Blendabilities, the new alcohol markers from Stampin’ Up! are so fun and so easy to use. These markers come in a set of 3 – light, medium and dark and I have found that they will blend easily. The one thing I really like about these blendabilities, is that you do not require a lot of different shades to effect the blending process. These are great for those learning to color with alcohol markers.
Stamps: Bloom with Hope (c-133952, w-133949, p 240, 2014/15 Annual Catalogue), Another Thank You (p – 136835 , p 148, 2014/15 Annual Catalogue).
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Mossy Meadow, Blendabilities: Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Mocha.
Paper: Whisper White, Mossy Meadow, So Saffron, Flowerpot DSP.
Accessories: Big Shot, Stylish Stripes, Early Espresso Baker’s Twine, Mini Clothes Pin, White Gel Pen.
To color the petals, I started with the lightest shade of the Rich Razzleberry blendabilities and coloured the whole petal, taking the medium shade and blending where there would be shadow and finally taking the darkest shade and blending where the shadows would be the deepest.
Finally, I took the Color Lifter Pen and highlighted several areas in the petals. The Color Lifter pen does not eliminate the color, but moves it around to create lighter shades.
It’s Convention, so check out my FACEBOOK page to see what I’m up too. #InspireCreateShare2014
