29 Crib Hand Birthday Card – Great for An Avid Crib Player
29 Crib Hand Birthday Card
A 29 crib hand is very hard to achieve. An avid crib player is turning 97 and a friend of his asked me to create a birthday card for him. So if you are turning 97 years young, then you need a 29 point crib hand. A 29 point crib hand is achieved by have 3-5’s and a Jack. The card turned up must be a 5 and the same suit as the Jack. The odds of this hand when playing a 2-person cribbage game is 1 in 216,580 and a 4-person cribbage game is 1 in 649,740. That’s a lot of crib games.

I know this card is not entirely Stampin’ Up!. I did use my Silhouette Cutting Machine along with downloadable designs to create the crib cards. Once I manipulated the card hand and got the it to the right size for the birthday card, the silhouette just cut it out.
Cut the letters and numbers from Basic Black cardstock using the LIttle Letters Framelits and the Little Numbers Framelits. These are retired and if you get a chance to purchase them, go for it.
Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock using Real Red ink. Cut the sentiment with the smaller die cut from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Layer the sentiment on a strip of 1/2 Black Satin Ribbon and Sliver Glimmer Paper.
Attach a piece of Whisper White cardstock to the inside of the card. Stamp sentiments from the Broadway Birthday stamp set with Real Red ink.
Send this card for an avid crib player so they will get a 29 crib hand in their life time.
