Happy Mother’s Day — 12 Comments

  1. Karen, it’s a LOVELy card! So very pretty….but now…the main question: What is a dessert called Dirt!
Glad you had a great Mother’s Day with family.

  2. Dirt with worms? And I thought Aussies ate strange sometimes!
Your card is lovely and I am glad Karen that you had a good time at your barbeque.

  3. This is a beautiful card Karen. I love how you have teamed the purple with Olive and Yellow it looks fabulous, and a combo I wouldn’t have even thought of. I am so pleased you had a wonderful Mother’s Day with your family. BBQ was on the menu at our house too for mothers day which we celebrated with both Rod and My parents.

  4. Karen what a pretty card. I’m learning to love the concord crush [Like the deep shade} and I’m not a purple person.
Really like how you cut out the flowers and gave them some bling, as well as the doilies peeking out on the bottom. Beautiful.
We barbqued too and John made the RIBS! Yeah baby.. along way too much of everything else. The sun was shinning ALL weekend. Maybe spring has arrived !!
PS: Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog cards too. Hugs.

  5. Very pretty, Karen! I absolutely LOVE how you used the doily punch. Of course, the perfect touches on this card are the snipped out flowers! Oh my gosh…I have not had dirt cake in years! I know what I am making this week!

  6. Karen, I LOVE your card! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge! I love the stamp set you used, your colors, the DSP AND that totally awesome doily punch!! That is so darned cool!!
