Create Daisy Delight Birthday Greetings
Create daisy delight birthday greetings for someone who enjoys daisies. Make the daisy the focal point of this card.
Daisies come in all different colors so the daisy can be any color you want it to be. The best color will be the colors that the birthday person likes.
To create this daisy, ink the stamp set with Night of Navy and stamp on Whisper White. Because Night of Navy is a highly pigmented color, stamp off once before stamping on the cardstock. For a fuller daisy, stamp and punch 3 daisies.
Before layering the daisies, sponge Night of Navy ink around the center of the daisy and on the tips. Also, using your bone folder, curl 2 of daisy petals up and 1 set of petals down. Now, layer the daisies, offsetting the petals. It will be your choice to layer using dimensionals or adhesive. Add a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the daisy.
Stamps: Daisy Delight, Birthday Delivery.
Ink/Marker: Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist, VersaMark.
Paper: Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.
Accessories: Big Shot, Lots of Labels Framelits, Daisy Punch, Clear Faceted Gems, Night of Navy 5/8” Crinkled Seam Binding.
Die cut 1 label from Night of Navy and 1 label from Lemon Lime Twist. Stamp the “Birthday Greetings” on the the Lemon Lime Twist using VersaMark. Don’t forget to use your Embossing Buddy to eliminate the static cling. Heat emboss. Layer the Lemon Lime Twist layer on the Night of Navy layer and adhere to the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper layer. Add a length of the Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Stamp 3 leaves using Lemon Lime Twist ink and cardstock. Fussy cut the leaves and add to back of daisy before attaching daisy to the card front.
Attach the layered daisy to the bottom of the labels. Off center a bit to add interest.
