Celebrating a 5 year old’s birthday is very special. At 5 you get to go to Kindergarten…that’s pretty special all by itself. There are other special happenings too, a special Birthday card made for you , a special party with special friends and a very special cake.
Punch art is always a great card to do for a child, they are fun, special and can be used for all occasions and if the punch art is something they can relate too it’s even better. A 5 year old can always relate to a clown.

Creating Punch art is so much fun. This form of art sometimes really taxes your brain to figure out what punch you can use to get the feature you want. Sometimes you need to use a combination of punches and/or trim them to another shape.
To create the balloons, I used the small oval punch and punched 2 ovals. The bottom of the balloon where the knot would be I used the feet from the owl body. The string and the feet were inserted between the two ovals and the white gel pen used to create some dimension. How much fun is that. Punches are not what they seem.
