Background Images for Birthday Cards
Using background images for birthday cards is a great way to add you own personal touch. The background builder image stamp set that I used for this card comes in a set of 3 and it is not a wheel stamp. You could use all 3 images on your card or select 1 or two of them. Stamp the images using different inks or one colour. The choice is yours and you can have lots of fun with this stamp set.
On this card, I used the Adorning Edgelits Framelits that outlines one of the stamp images and reflects the movements along the top of the stamped panel. This technique adds to the card’s interest and to balance the top treatment, the bottom of the panel has just a strip of designer paper. This treatment grounds the panel to the embossed panel.

Another tip is to use the Stamp-a-Ma-Jig if you are worried about lining up the stamps. If you use the clear mount stamps, you may not need this tool, however, it is a very handy tool for the wood-mount stamps. How much I try, I cannot see through the wood mount stamps.
